I'm trying to find away to filter out account length. Not like oldest or newest account, but more how long the account was used. Mainly to delete accounts that was only used for a day or so, to see how much that narrows things down... But when ever I try and do calculations, the program I'm using crashes. I'll work something out. Joe not sure if this will help or make it easier...try doing the top 100 players for the last six rounds or from 2015...most that have played regularly will be in the top 100 (end of round scores) at some stage...hope that narrows it a bit I agree that is a great idea Sharron....Top 100 for last 5 rounds should cover most all active players....

| Hey all. Just seen the site was no longer around so thought I'd check in here and see why.
Db has officially gone from the site?
New site setup?
I hope the site ends up great like it used to be in the old days when most the ring tables and sngs was active and loads in each tournament.
Always been an amazing idea for a poker site and some awesome members.
Weird to think it was over 12 years ago I started playing on fatcat.

| No Worries Joe, you are human and need rest and you are doing yeomans work, and in the big picture it seems most dont care anyways, game after game with no one registering, and when it starts more often than not no one is there ( due to the delays more often than not I would hope as it is quite often several hours ) and usually just the 3 player minimum if and when it does start. Certain players register for game after game after game but incredulously never sit for ANY of 3 4 5 or 6 games in a row... Again I realize games start late... i realize people have lives but looks to me like some just want easy chips and not to play poker. After the posts yesterday and you creating the games there was 4 or 5 hrs of games that were late starting...
Without more players i fear all your work is for naught... hopefully I am wrong and more players start to show up and actually play if they register for game after game after game...and again understanding for people that miss the odd game that started 3 hrs after they registered for it..i mean people that sign up every hour for games but never sit to play but still register for the one the next hour. Its sad enough only having 3 players sign up but even more so when 1 or 2 of them never sit for the game

| But still the same few sign up for game after game after game but when it starts they are no where to be seen... right now the same person is up for 5 in a row,,, i was registered but just unregistered as i am done for the night..... I bet dollars to donuts when the game s start ( even the very last one ) that person will not sit for any of the games...
The chips mean NOTHING right now but some players just want to milk as many easy free chips as they can..
I would love to see a full table, or multiple tables... but all i see is this same abhorrent behavior.... greed plain and simple.. BUT even worse is the lack of response, from the members...
I am not sure if people cannot find the new site, cannot register or sit at the new site, or we just lost the vast majority of our membership... but whatever it is... its very disconcerting and alarming for the long term survival of the site

| Just some info.....can still go to http://www.pokerfatcat.net/index.php and log in.....it no longer stops you from logging in....but when you go to play poker tab and try to bring up tables it has a 404 error with lots of info....however not one bit of info on how to go to new site......there is info on face page with a link....but you have to manually click it...prior to server change I am sure that it was automatically done...it is not know....so for all those who were unaware of the site changing URL (those not on forums or haven't visited for a while) they may think that fatcat has finally gone | |

or https://www.teamfatcat.com/play-poker Yes there is no problems if you use that link Roy........but if you use the old link..it lets you log in......however if you go and try to 'play poker' on old link and try to bring up tables.....it comes up with this I know there is a link for teamfatcat at top of old link......but many do not see it and I think it used to auto direct you to teamfatcat link....but it doesn't anymore....the problem is those that have not visited fatcat or the forums in a while (like Danny)....are none the wiser that fatcat still exists...yes they could visit forums and find out but we all know many players will not do so for one reason or other.......if there was some way that the old link could be auto directed it would make it easier OR is it not possible to blackout the pictures and type in big bold letters the new fatcat link so people will recognise the url has changed

| CENTAVOS TO TORTILLAS I'll bet YOU ARE absolutely correct,my Canadian Amigo...point of signing up is to play, unfortunately what point is it when 3 hrs later there are still only 2 signed up,when it's a threesome required to start the game(some just lament forget this) and move on......... I am also thinking, maybe if the site would get back up to speed(more than 1 game per hr) and whatever normalcy's there after,it just might bring more people back,Because 1 game per hr X 3 players= no TEAM competition whatsoever ...ASTONISHING,EH? Sharron, the same people who never use the forums are probably still not using the forums. Using 5 Foot letters to direct them to the correct HTTPS isn't going to make a difference if they don't see them... Casino Fat Cat went down May 7...and,Over 3 months has passed and still only minimal advances in setting up a NEW Team Fat Cat quite discouraging at this point,I would say. If and when it finally debuts,I'm certain it's going to take a while before it's back up to some form of normal So,summing "Team FatCat" up in one word at this time "BORING" seems to fit quite well. I know Wes and Tony are doing their best to get the New site up and running, Kudos to them both. I hope it won't be long before all is well with the world, again,so we can continue the team play, drama and all that makes Fat Cat "THE Place to Play FAT CAT POKER" also,THE HTTP ERROR page DOES suggest using HTTPS,if one would just "read" the error page instead of P&M'ing about it. | |

| if we have a new program, use it.
start all over from square one and stop worrying about these worthless millions of chips. its time to stop looking backward and take a step forward.
people have gone on to other sites and will not be coming back here until its a full working site.
muf and joezilla, thank you for trying. its time to bury the old.

| I hear ya Sharron,I think i know what you mean...There is nothing on the forums that can direct old or new ppl to the site with an easy quick link.. The only thing i have seen is here on offsite...Some nvr came to offsite but used the old forums... All info to get onto the site should be on both forums...For some it is a task to follow the directions to log on...Most on the site are older and not as good on computers as the younger bunch are..It does need to be alot easier to get to Team fat cat... But as for now to sit with just 3 ppl is no fun at all at least for me.. I myself would love to see the tables rocking but this slow ordeal in getting things up to par has come to one game an hour, team aspect still not there,no individual scores.. Why play!!! As of right now to me it's a waste of time sad to say...
As for the developer if he has been paid for the program then he needs to step up and get it working..
I once again logged in to see if any new news, only to find out fat cat is stalled out again... As for me i'll move on the digital world is way to big, other sites much easier to get to plus the tables are full and scores are appropriately kept up to date ..

| Cant blame Joe for not prioritizing making games over sleep and family life...
He makes them and no one plays... I log in and go to play and see 2 3 or 4 games all not started with zero or one registered..time after time after time.
Not wanting to wait hours for the game to start i just shut down the lobby and move on, I am sure others do the same thing...
The problem is a lack of players on the site for a multitude of reasons and as i have said this is the biggest concern at fatcat.. the lack of interest the malaise, leading to no one playing..
It to me is a combination of things, some have never found their way here, some still having problems logging in, and some losing interest over the length of time to get the site fully functional, with more games... BUT the site needs something to bring at the very least the loyal players from before the crash back... then start moving forward..
The mass email didnt do it, posting on the old site or linking the old site to the new site is not an option apparently...short of knocking on doors I am at a loss myself..
