Wes,... went to the link you provided and sat at a demo table for awhile. Correct me if I am wrong, but I did not see anywhere on the screen a typed out description what I had in my hand. If this is true, players must concentrate on their cards much more than with the current FatCat program to determine their betting. Also, if multiple tables can be played simultaneously, this could be a real problem.

the description is a setting in the back office if im not mistaking but yea i know where your coming from it can be an issue, this would be something i will be checking on if new is the only option along with other issues we've encountered.

Nothing is set in stone at this time and i was just looking into what we already have and the source the poker was originally from, getting all possible options and weighing what we can do.

with a new program, we have 3 months support and 1 year of updates. after the 1 year the updates have to be paid for.

I have checked a few other programs out and they are 5000 on an average because they are setup for real money already and wouldn't be useful as is... PWS is for play chips and if cash is used then its another 2400 i think...

the demo is there to see the environment, the tournament feature is different from the demo, anyways im waiting on the support from DB and what his take is over all this... Once we have more news ill let everyone know.

i have many of times checked on new programs and tried to work out with the software developers a discount or use our site for testing type stuff but they all say the same thing we can BUY or RENT and rent is 500 a month so that will never be an option.

and all of us who have been supporting the site with regular donations are quite concerned....We players depend on Fat Cat to occupy our time and it is also has social qualities,and right now and(speaking for myself) I'm climbing that proverbial wall

Wes,fatcat the way it is,meaning the cards generator also the typed out hand (description) GB spoke about seems we could keep it as is,i mean after all were all under the same odds were all familiar with it...I think we could keep it as is..
Just make sure it is on a secure OS.....

Hang tough fatcatters....Just got back from the sunshine state spent a week there and hoped fatcat would be up and running.....
I hope it's sooner then later Wes....I'm starting NOT to miss it.....

After several days the site scripts are worse off then we thought, we need to rebuild everything from scratch, not what i wanted to hear my self but the truth has me thinking of getting a new server new web site built, and new poker.

i have a programmer who will help for the whole transition to make the site fully protected and everything new.

with everything new the poker will play on multiple formats not just windows... the site will be secure and new look...

Im sorry to bring the bad news like this but the current situation we have is not working to our advantage.

I will need help in all aspects in getting the new implemented so the current server will be canceled as of the 27th so we do not have a 282$ server payment next month, the new server will be much cheaper not sure on how much but i know it will be cheaper.

As soon as i have all the details i will post again.

Im so sorry for this bad news.

Im looking forward to getting new up and running as quickly as possible.
