The fact that you LOCKED THAT THREAD is what galls people clearly after you have what you believe is the FINAL WORD.  How generous of you Roy to leave that post up for a few days.  Why would you want to take it down any more than taking down any other thread?  All it does is reflect the opinion of the members who had a chance to vote.

To attribute any ulterior motive other than BigC asking if other players on FC think there should be more than one moderator in this off-site forum is outrageous.  Clearly he is not alone in thinking that there should be more than one moderator in this forum as the poll clearly indicated.

For the record, I think that the vast majority of players who were able to vote, as the window of opportunity to vote is way too brief, did not cast their vote as an aspersion on you, although some clearly believe you are extremely dictatorial and arbitrary about what stays and what goes.  We have personally had this discussion.  Many players just clearly feel that there should be more than one moderator in this forum (I refer you to the vote count) and they are entitled to that opinion.  

Clearly there are some who do not feel you are fair in your treatment of players in this community and that you arbitrarily determine what posts and threads meet your personal standards and they are resentful that you personally get to delete their posts and opinions based upon whatever rubs you the wrong way without any input from any other party or in consultation with another mod.  I think BigC was expressing that sentiment, and I don't see any hidden agenda there at all.

If it makes you feel better to think there was a hidden agenda and the voting would have gone differently why not post your own poll again and let's see how that vote goes and see if anyone buys into your "hidden agenda and ulterior motive theory."  Since it was all pretty simple and straightforward I honestly don't even know where you came up with that, and I would anticipate that the members that think there should be more than one moderator in this forum will NOT have changed their opinion based upon any other posts in that previous thread that YOU LOCKED.

This clearly is just IMHO.

i havent closed the poll, just locked it from further posts that were being made by an individual who was posting about another thread.
his comments (and a few others) might have been influential on how people were voting.
as i have tried to show (in the other thread) almost all these comments are lies, depending on what people believed, would skew any real poll.
had their been a simple poll without a campaign waging elsewhere in the forum and people dind't post the 'why's' and 'wherefor's' it might have run fine.
the poll is still open and people are free to vote without being influenced by what gets posted.

doesnt deny the fact i made  and  what  QB  echoed...  you  just  couldnt close it  without one final attack on those   you disagreed  with  that  could not be   rebutted.... that is   very sad.....

simply closing it is one thing  , abusing power  by attacking people then closing it knowing no one could have rebuttal  is    totally different..

The voting is open for 24 hours....if that long...how can you get a proper tally of anything in that short a period of time.  You don't even leave the polls open long enough for everyone to have an opportunity to vote for any option including in favor of one mod.

THE POLL WAS REALLY SIMPLE ROY - SHOULD THIS FORUM HAVE ONE MOD OR TWO?  AND THEN THERE WAS A BONUS OPTION OF WERE PEOPLE HAPPY WITH THE STATUS QUO, WHICH TO ME MEANT THAT BASICALLY OPTIONS #1 AND #3 WERE IDENTICAL.

Simply put, people either think there should be more than one mod or they don't and anything that anyone else has or had to say about you or anything does not influence their decision and voting on that subject. That's the part for some reason you don't seem to get. That's almost an insult to the other players on this site that they don't have their OWN OPINION and personal feelings.

If you think it was skewed by comments made by others POST A NEW POLL and see if it turns out differently. I don't believe it will.

I'm done now. I have stated my thoughts on this, but I do not believe that the members that voted did anything other than state their own opinions and they could care less what anyone else thinks or says and they were not influenced by anyone else's comments.

i didnt create the poll or set how long it would run for, that is done by whoever creates the poll.

I have had problems on the tables, put up with bs from players, so what, these are people who are obviously wearing their pants too tight and playing for sheep stations. I ignore them, and keep playing my hands, my way and when I want to.. Enough. Lets just play and have fun. Enjoy what we are here for ............ play poker.

Thank you for sharing with all of us your reason for joining FatCat.  We all feel truly enlightened now that you have graced FC with your poker playing presence.

If you don't like the games, the way the players at FC play in them and you don't like what the players have to say in the forums it seems you have a number of options starting with PLAYING ON A DIFFERENT SITE where you don't have to deal with any of that.  You have been here for 10 minutes and you have no idea of what the history of this site is or the players on it.  It's highly unlikely that the players who have been here for 10+ years plan on changing anything about how they play or how they post or what they feel because of your recent arrival at FC.

We can all clearly see you've had your own little whine fest in this post about the games, the players and the problems you've had at the tables.  Let's see you don't like their attitude, how they play, if they complain if they lose.....too bad.  That's FC Poker and you've been here long enough to have figured that out even if you haven't gotten the rest of it.  So if you think it's ever going to be any other way on this site you might want to rethink that because after 10 years here I can tell you it's not going to.  Your own winging and whining in this post just adds more of what you so fondly refer to as CRAP!

The poll was set up to stay up 20 days...I thought that was up to the individual that started the poll...
At least that is what it said when i started it..State how many days you want the poll to last...I did that and now the poll i think is still open to vote...Its the posts that have been locked down....Why i don't know...I nvr dreamed this would get this far out of hand...I just thought there should be more then one single solitary moderator...As i stated what if this Mod took Ill,had an illness in the family,Needed a vacation...There are many more reasons why we should have more then one Moderator..I just don't feel like going down that road...

I am not in this thread to talk bad about coachescorner,roy0110 or BigC i like them all three and they have my respect all three of them,and i dont want to get involved in their dispute nor will i pick side,I dont get involved in real life eather when two friends have a dispute,my point of view is that they are all adult persons and let them sort it out without letting more fuel to the fire .

im almost afraid to post this.........BUT.........a lot of this bs could be eliminated,,,,,,,,,,,,if teams would get their delegates back to the TLU!.....im sure this will bring the comment....."what if I don't like my teams delegates?" well say so in your own forum ...n re-elect a couple new ones!

That unfortunately was a whole other era on CFC when there were lots of teams with enough active members to qualify to participate in the Team Leaders Union.  Right now I am going to guess there are three or maybe four teams max that have enough "active" players to be eligible to participate in the TLU.  That's one of the reasons the forums are so important to have, so if members like CC, BigC, etc. have an issue they can address that with other members on the site.  There is not a chance that the teams with 25-40 active players are going to want the teams with five active members or less to have an equal vote in the TLU, which is why for a team to be eligible they had to have a certain number of active members they represented to qualify for participation in the original TLU.

If there are ever enough teams on FC again that have enough active members, which is everyone's hope, to bring back the TLU is a great idea.  I don't think you will find anyone that disagrees with you on that at all.

If you read the previous bits of that thread you know what "(quotes)" actually mean.  You would also know that I was directly quoting cat and my opinion of his post.  Like I said I don't begrudge anyone having an opinion as long as they don't try to stifle others from having an opinion too.

I'm going to repeat once again that if I say it I own it.  If quoting cat was vulgar and inflammatory you need to take that up with him because he was the one that made the original post and I was just putting his quote in quotes.  For the record, no one was called anything in that post.  If quoting a previous poster is vulgar and inflammatory blame the original messenger not the person that quoted their post.  LOL

Previously answered and explained ad nauseum.  First, second and third person are the same in every single language.  

Well excuse me for missing your one kind post that you made TWO WEEKS ago and I'm going to repeat I don't bash anyone for having a different opinion unless they disregard other people's opinions.  It's clear that kind words for NYsnow were not in order when her dad was ill and neither were congrats to the #1 winning team this past round or the #1 player.  I could go on about other perceived failures on your part but why bother because I don't actually care.  There are people that generously share that and those that don't and there is nothing more to say on that topic.  You are under no obligation to say anything nice to anyone and generally speaking you clearly don't.  I don't agree with everything said on this site and I'm sure everyone doesn't agree with me.  We don't have to agree.  Got that!

First of all, you AVATAR is at the poker table and since by your own admission once again you don't actually play at the tables on FC anymore I don't even know what your avatar looks like.  If you are referring to your forum SIGNATURE that is hard to ignore. since it is at the bottom of every single one of your posts and clearly you are making a statement with that particular "signature."  If you can't take a joshing about it get a new sig otherwise I guess that's too bad.  I'm sure at least one other player had a good laugh about that sig loaded with innuendo.  We all get it about your "big hand," and I gave you a friendly recommendation on what you should do with that "big" hand.  Since you don't play poker anymore what other "big hand" could you possibly be referring to?

Ok well I think that pretty much covers it and if it doesn't answer all your questions well that's all you're going to get from QB because you are becoming beyond tiresome, but I didn't want to be discourteous and not give you a reply, since you seemed to so desperately be in need of one.

I have had nothing but, good table manners and respect from you.  I do agree that this thread is supplied by fuel and ppl can rant till they blue in the face.  Of course, I didnt bother to read all that hogwash or am I going to. This is sole my opinion, I do have one as e1 should here.

In FatCat Ancient Time, POLLS were created by the TLU.  We must take  in consideration that the TLU hasn't fully re-established as of yet, ANY  fatcat member would be allowed to create a POLL for suggestions among OUR FATCAT COMMUNITY when an imminent  problem exist.  

THE SIMPLE FACT HERE IS the fatcat vote ended with positive votes for 2 mods.  The majority rules: 2 mods WIN the VOTE regardless of suggested days unless current MOD reinstates the days allotted for final say of members.

Now, I like to see available  MOD positions posted.  If said community VOTE is DENIED.  Current mod would be required to step-down and lose position due to failure to enforce rules due to favoritism and/or discrimination.
