- when i first took over the site there were about 35 members who gave enough to run the site for 9 months it has been fully up the whole time without any major issues, we are good for next month as for march and going forward we will be struggling to be honest, yes we do have dedicated few members who have kept to their word and donate every month. BTW take over was in feb 2016 and feb 2017 is 1 year and yes time flies by too dang fast
the intake the last 5 months we were lucky to pull in an average of about 60 to 150 per month, and this has made it possible for dec, Jan, and feb. march we will be short and ill cover what we are short as of now its about 130 but if we cannot generate 294$ a month then i dont know what to do...
cfc is not a paid site to make money or win prizes its fully operational by donations as everyone is fully aware.
The server company has been bought out and they no longer support the server we are on so im trying my best to figure out a game plan to get the poker on a new server but the issue is this poker has not been a success on a VR machine to allow the poker to operate so we are operating on the old server that no longer will get repaired if there is hardware failure because of the OS is 32 bit.
I do have a full backup of the server on a remote computer so all the files are accounted for as for getting everything on a working environment is my issue.
This also tells me that the new server will be cheaper 270ish per month that will be 64 bit but the migration is the issue. poker will not run as it should on the virtual server we have created.
until i get a working version and know what can be done we remain on the old server.
I have one member who will help acquire the new server but i cannot order it till we know the migration can be done without flaws so we have a smooth transition and almost NO down time.
I cannot and will not put the Cart before the Horse over this issue. I have to be smart and apply the changes once we do have a successful migration.
Hope this makes sense. please note: the above is a quote from mufasa, all enquiries about poker software issues, donations, rules, special game requests, should be addressed to him at...... support@pokerfatcat.net | |
