This may come as a surprise to most, but I actually agree with Ky... were it not for the sitters, a lot of those overnite games would never start. I've not done any intentional sitting since joining Bazinga only because my chief asked us not to, but I can't see the point if every other team is doing it anyway. The no-sitting rule can't be enforced because no one wants to report the sitters... and if they did, it would only start up the drama all over again which might lead to Muf shutting us down. I say do away with the rule, sit all you want, and let the chips fall where they may. End result... NO MORE DRAMA. (How's that for filling in the blanks 007?)

Each and everyone of you are right to some extent...and I know that everyone here is NOT wanting to cause drama...I will agree that sitters do influence he way a round is played or won especially when it comes to the individual standings...but like grey said  'once one team does it the rest will follow and there is no way to stop that without losing more players or creating fewer games that start.....and believe me, if you have less games on offer---you eventually will get less players playing here... likewise if you rely on players to report sitters, you will get drama and hence we will have less people here due to that......it seems to be a viscious circle creating a NO win situation for everyone

Personally,if it came to a choice...I would rather have the people here playing--no matter what--because without players you don't have a site-----you won't have any competition if that happens.  Anyhow I know many of you are waiting for Mufusa to do something about the sitter problem but it's not simple to change the program to accommodate those wishes------you already have elimination of sitters in the first few minutes...and whilst a few have found ways to manipulate the system--at least you don't have to sit through an entire game and wait for their chips to dwindle...like many other sites do.  I wish people wouldn't sit or manipulate the system but that will never happen...well at least not without causing drama and losing even more people----is that really worth it?  and to those that do manipulate the system...is winning any competition really worth causing yourselves less respect or making others feel like its not worth playing?........either way its a NO win situation at a site that can ill afford to lose a single player

Having said all of that...there is a way that might make the competition a little fairer to all-----without the need of a major program overhaul or a continuous watch of players by others..it would require the games to be reset but after that initial input ....it should put players and the competition back on a more level grounding regarding sitters.......it will not stop those sitting...  but it will create it harder to make as many chips and also create less drama amongst players without the need to ban/punish or ask anyone to be judge or jury----thus keeping most of our players happy

The idea is to have all tourneys a buyin with free chips.....5,000 for the games over 100k, 2000 for games over 26k and over, and 1000 for games less than 26k....payouts should remain the same...and I know it will have an impact at start of round where people would go into the negative(as they will need to win a few games before going into the positive) but everyone and every team will all be in same boat therefore creating an equality that shouldn't impact the round.  However, it will make those that are sitting in games pay for the privelege and they should be able only to make minimal amounts for sitting...therefore create a more level playing field for those that are playing to win --without the need of intervention from Mufusa or creating drama or losing members

Not sure how you all feel on that suggestion or whether it possible ( I think the current program can do this... just needs Mufusa to reset the games ..and I know that will take time).....anyhow its just an idea to discuss...Cheers tc xx

some of us have lifes outside of fatcat were not retired and spend our entire day sitting and a fake chip table there will always be sitters so STOP WHINNING JUST LIKE THERE WILL ALWAYS BE HUGGERS AND DONKS end of story

I hear you Sharron, and you've come up with a good idea... IF Mufasa had the time to do it. In the meantime, a quick fix would be to remove the no-sitting rule altogether. This would create more players signing up for those late nite games, and lessen the chances of the same people earning chips again and again before they are booted.

As for the buy-in idea... also good. Each team has a 100K monthly bank that they can dole out to those who go in the hole, so a negative chip count wouldn't be an issue, unless of course, the player is without a team. But since this is a team site... it matters not. The chiefs have control of the purse strings, so if a player is abusing the sitting, the chief will be able to have some measure of control.

im sure no one has a problem with a big game with 40 or 50 peeps and 20 fall off for sitting cause they forgot or couldnt make the game for personal reasons

I am guilty of: sitting out,playing bingo (sometimes) and hugging(sandbagging) my cards i even make jokes at tables and i am a big blabbermouth (chatter)...

I never complains on anyone how they play on tables or off,,but i got to say you really throw stones when you sitting in a glass house m8,,take a good look at your team members,you really should have done this before you made this post.
