Remembrance Sunday, which falls on 8 November in 2015, is a day for the nation to remember and honour those who have sacrificed themselves to secure and protect our freedom.
  lets remeber all service  men and girls  whom have lost thier  lives...And for them who are serving , god bless

We  will be   remembering here  in Canada  as  well    but on WED Nov  11 at  11   AM   with 2 minutes of  slience  to honour and pay respect to those  who sacrificed their  lives  for our  freedom... and  to also honour  those that continue  to  do so...

Veterans Day is an official United States federal holiday that is observed annually on November 11, honoring people who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces, also known as veterans. It coincides with other holidays including Armistice Day and Remembrance Day, which are celebrated in other parts of the world and also mark the anniversary of the end of World War I (major hostilities of World War I were formally ended at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918, when the Armistice with Germany went into effect). The United States also originally observed Armistice Day; it then evolved into the current Veterans Day holiday in 1954.
Veterans Day is not to be confused with Memorial Day; Veterans Day celebrates the service of all U.S. military veterans, while Memorial Day is a day of remembering the men and women who gave their lives and those who perished while in service

TWO MINUTE SILENCE

Each year at the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month, we observe a Two Minute Silence. Armistice Day on 11 November marks the end of the First World War and is a day to remember and honour those who have paid the price for our freedom.

I have never  served, but  every year i remember my grandfather  who  did.... and  all  those   who served along with him from all countries who fought to  get us  the  life  we  enjoy  now... and  also those  who continue  to serve  to ensure  we keep it....
